MEGATHRUST - MATTER OF FACT was created to prove a point and send a message. A hard record is not necessarily Hardcore,or a minimal underground track does not need to be boring and music does not have to be commercial to be uplifting. This selection of music is for the open minded who do not have the obsession to put music into different groups or genres. Techno,Trance,House or Electro or whatever name you want to give it can all be mixed together to make a melodic and uplifting experience without breaking it all down into different styles.
This mix is an introduction to my forthcoming uploads of a 4 and a half hour mix I made in the mid 90s called The Pyroclastic Flow Trilogy, in which all electronic styles of music are used to create a journey without feeling the need to call 1 tune trance or house or gabber or old skool or whatever! To be honest, I personally have always simply called it Techno and that will never change.
